Tenants’ liability and accidental damage insurance It is a condition of the tenancy agreement that the tenants have adequate insurance in place to cover tenants’ liability and accidental damage for the fixtures and fittings belonging to the landlord. Tenants must provide a copy of their insurance details before moving into the property or collecting keys. We are unable to provide a policy ourselves but you can obtain the appropriate cover by contacting Hazelton Mountford who are a local independent insurance broker.
