Our Seller Says…
'Having lived in the centre of Bristol the last 5 years, my last one at Number One has been the highlight. The building is unique in the city due to its facilities, making it a cut above the rest.
Day to day, it feels great to come home to the high standard building, as soon as the sliding doors open. Having the gym available is significant, as you aren't tied down by a gym contract and get many of the machines found in a larger subscription gym, it's also less busy and you can control the A/C to your heart's content. The rooftop garden is a great place to relax or bring some friends and have a bbq, and as it darkens move into the common room or flat. Finally the neighbours you meet are kind and happy to socialise, and also involved in the issues concerning the management of the building.
The location of Number One puts it in walking distance of the major attractions, and night and socialising scenes of Bristol. The parking space is very convenient (you can also look at it from the balcony) and certainly highly sought after, as only a handful of apartments are allocated spaces. By car, it is easy to access the parking through two entrances, directly from the M32 through the bus station, or from the centre through Hotel du Vin. The building is very cycling friendly, bringing much of the rest of the city within reach. Overall, getting around in these forms of transport has been really pleasant with Number One, as the centre's buildings are hard-pressed for the space and facilities to accommodate them.'

Energy Efficiency and Green Credentials
According to the energy performance certificate, the flat is rated as a 'B' for both energy efficiency and environmental impact. This is at its full potential for its energy performance. The estimated running costs for lighting, heating and hot water are around £360 for the year.
When the development was built there was a conscious effort to refurbish using as much of the existing building as possible.
There is a Mechinical Ventilation Heat Recovery (mvhr) system, which circulates fresh air within the flat. The flat has triple-glazed windows, helping with the temperature as well as keeping the flat quieter.
There has been an effort to include as many green plants within the building to oxygenate the air and there has been solar power used on the roof of the west tower, where this flat is situated.
