Property Description

Are you looking for very large & well established bungalow in a suburban setting with four double bedrooms, large kitchen/dining room, a bright and welcoming lounge with French doors out into an enclosed and private rear garden with detached garage……then look no further, this really is the NewHome4U

Come to our office for free Independent mortgage advice or just email or even ‘call': Do you like the photos? Well may be you would you like to view this home personally…..The good thing about NewHome4U is, we open 7 days a week and we’re physically in the office 4U just so that you can, ‘’like no other estate agent in Mold’

Sitting high on the hill with views down over Flint and across the Dee estuary, the sheer size of the accommodation provided by this home comes as a real surprise. The surprise is further exaggerated by the way the home simply does not appear as big as it is, due I think, to the way that it sits slightly lower than the surrounding pavements owing to the slope of the terrain. However, this is not apparent from within the home, which is largely concealed but the manicured hedge surrounding the perimeter.

As we step through the pedestrian gate into the side garden with its mixture of grass and gravel surfaces, a set of four steps lead down to the front door and the pathway that surrounds this magnificent home.

A semi glazed wooden door leads directly into the broad hallway with its attractive light wood laminate floor and where, immediately to our left, is a sizeable cupboard for hanging coats and other outdoor type clothing. Next to here is the first of the bedrooms. This, in common with all the others is a generously sized room, well able to take a double bed and any necessary free standing furniture, aided and abetted by the large fitted wardrobes providing plentiful additional storage.
Adjacent to here is the second bedroom. Slightly larger than the first, this is similarly equipped with fitted wardrobes but then ups its game to a new level, with its own en-suite bathroom.

This en-suite is neatly laid out with a ceramic floor and fully tiled walls, containing a pedestal hand basin, lavatory and corner shower cubicle with an electric shower.

The next door off the hall reveals the family bathroom. Again with a ceramic floor mirroring that in the en-suite, this contains the expected pedestal hand basin, lavatory and bath. There are those who may feel that this could benefit from something of an update but in its present form, it is functional and perfectly pleasant. Next door there is a large airing cupboard, with a radiator to ensure the luxury of warm socks on a winter’s morning; providing you remember to pop a pair in last thing at night….

On the same side of the hall as the bathroom, we find the third bedroom. In here, while a double bed would be possible it would be something of a squeeze but as it is currently configured, it makes a luxuriously sized single room, or games room, or study, or library, or sewing room, you decide, it is nothing if not versatile.

Opposite here is the final bedroom. This is most definitely a double room; you can tell by the double bed in it. The bed leaves sufficient space for a large free standing wardrobe, so storage is never an issue and this leaves us with a very comfortable room.

Moving to the end of the hall we find the lounge, where the wood laminate continues, opening out into a large and well lit room. The centrepiece of the room is the ornate living flame gas fire, although with the gas combi powered central heating, how necessary this is for warming purposes remains open to debate. What is unarguable is the pleasing glow from its living flame, which imparts so much more than mere heat and gives the room its heart. The far wall contains a large picture window alongside a large set of sliding patio doors which open onto the enclosed rear garden, with its charming and peaceful sitting area. At the rear of the garden lies the detached garage, the up and over door of which in turn opens onto a broad driveway, offering off road parking for two cars side by side.

Back inside and the remaining door off the hallway reveals the huge kitchen. In spite of being a little dated, this is in terrific condition and should you wish to renew it, there need be no rush to do so as everything here is in perfect order and would allow alterations to be made at your leisure, rather than as a matter of necessity. The units take up two complete walls while the size of the room means there is ample space for a dining table against the opposite wall, making a very useable kitchen/diner. The operative word here is ’useable’, something so many rooms bearing this title abjectly fail to be…..But not this one!

All in all this apparently unassuming home opens up like a flower as you enter, providing a scale of accommodation that comes as a real surprise. The term ‘4 Bedroom Bungalow’ very rarely means a home with rooms of this size and level of comfort and with that bane of suburban living; parking comprehensively dealt with, this one is already looking a bit special. Yes, there are certain small items that could benefit from slight updating, but this is only normal when moving into any new home and has the added bonus of allowing you to stamp your own personality onto where your will be spending a lot of your time. And that, surely, is as it should be.
