Directions
From Chepstow take the A466 to Tintern. On entering Tintern, with the Abbey on your right, turn left at the Royal George Hotel - taking the road at the side of the hotel. Follow this road past the public car park, the road then bears to the right and then the left. Take the track on the right hand side, opposite the houses by the stream, and proceed to the top of the hill. Take the sharp right turn along the forestry road. Keep bearing left and bear left at the sign for Barbadoes Meadows. Approximately 300 yards along take the left hand gate just before the rises road again.
