We were first attracted to the peaceful and secluded location situated within a quiet cul-de-sac. We loved the fact that the garden benefits from total privacy and is not overlooked in the slightest, which is really very unusual in Chestfield.
While enjoying the privacy that the location offers, we are also fortunate to be close to the mainline railway station, and many other amenities such as the local shops, Doctors Surgery and the Chestfield Golf Club, which is known to be one of the best golf courses in Kent. We are also just a 5 minute drive from Whitstable and the seafront.
We love the pleasant community feel in the area, with good coastal and countryside walks and there is always plenty to enjoy in the area. We particularly love to visit The Barn, a 14th Century Bar & Restaurant that is very well known for great food and an enchanting atmosphere, which is only a 5 minute walk away from the house.
Perhaps our favourite feature of the property our lovely garden which has really been designed for outdoor living. From the large patios to the timber framed gazebo and awning, it’s a very special part of the property that we make full use of during the summer months. Being West facing, it benefits from the sunlight all day, meaning that we often enjoy eating breakfast lunch and dinner out there. The garden is, without doubt, the feature that we will miss most.
