We bought this bungalow almost 30 years ago, mainly due to its private, semi-rural location yet being within easy access to Dorking and Holmwood station. It is on the bus route so makes getting out and about easy if you don't want to take the car. We knocked down the original garage and built the sitting room and, in what was then a redundant outside space, built the shower room, which is tiled in marble. We also added on the conservatory and installed a new boiler in 2016. It is a great location being so close to Capel where there is an active, friendly village community. There is plenty to get involved in such as the bridge, tennis, cricket and film clubs. We are now downsizing and hope the new owners will enjoy living here.
