This has been a perfect home and location for us to bring up our family, the community is very settled, we look out for each other but nobody is intrusive. The nearby amenities are very good for socialising, healthcare and education, living equidistant from Canterbury and Ashford provides plenty of choice. The station is within a ten-minute walk and the high speed connections get to London in under an hour.
The balance of our casual and formal spaces have made this a fantastic home for us and it was an absolute selling point. The open plan kitchen and living area is great for everyone to be involved when cooking or spending some family time together, while the generously-sized dining and living rooms are perfect for entertaining. The entrance hallway has a very welcoming feeling, continued throughout the house with a light and airy flow.
French doors lead onto the decking in our safe, contained back garden. We have a gate which opens to the park, it was great for our children as they were growing up as it gives the feeling of an extension to our outside space. The access from inside to out makes entertaining easy during the warmer times of the year and we have always enjoyed hosting barbecues with family and friends. We have continued to modernise our home and it has a contemporary feel with lots of light. The kitchen and two en suites, one which is a wet room, have recently been refurbished, while the solar panels on the back generate an income to cover utility bills.
We will miss the community immediately around us, they have been really supportive as we have brought up our family.
