The house was published in a number of books and journals, including Architectural Review, when it was built. Twigg went on to form the architectural practice Michael Twigg Brown, whose most notable work includes the Hay’s Wharf project close to London Bridge.

East Grinstead town centre and railway station can be found less than half a mile away, offering a range of shops and restaurants. There are a number of very good schools in the area including the highly acclaimed Rudolf Steiner School. The surrounding area is well known for its outstanding natural beauty, with Ashdown forest and the South Downs within easy reach.

Train services run directly to London Bridge / Victoria from East Grinstead in less than an hour and there is also a fast 30-minute service from nearby Gatwick Airport into Victoria.
