Property Description

The main section of Rats Castle is understood to date back to the 14th Century and upon entry is not hard to believe. The house is approached through an entrance hallway with doors to a family bathroom and steps leading up to the main reception room with original exposed beams with unusually generous head height and open fire place immediately giving the feeling you are standing in a quite unique property. A hidden turning stair case behind the open fireplace leads up to the generously sized main bedroom with another original firepplace (currently screened) but easily revealed and another bedroom leading directly off that. The 'newer' part of the house believed to be added 200 years later is home to a further reception/dining room, a kitchen with dining area and a second staircase leading up to two further double bedrooms on the first floor.

The A3 with the new Hindhead tunnel provides fast access to the South coast, Guildford and the M25/London to the North.
