"Calm the Waves" was the personal request from Churchill in 1942. Investigating ways to to halt the relentless invasion of Northern France. Lochner experimented on the pond at Rats Castle, ultimately resulting in the safe landing of vast numbers of men and supplies on the d-Day beaches on June 6th, 1944.
