We have enjoyed every minute of our 30 years in this house, it has been a perfect home for us. When our children were small, it was lovely having the park and playground just across the road. We have been able to use the house in a variety of ways over the years. We have worked from home at various stages in our careers, as well as housing nannies, au-pairs and parents with relative ease. We adapted the accommodation so our teenage and later adult children could live independently, with us all remaining under one roof. More recently we have rented those areas of the house as a source of income . Now that our children have flown the nest, we are taking this opportunity to move on ourselves, even though we will miss living here more than we can say.
