We moved into this house as a family in 1986. It was a great house to bring up a family; really spacious with lots of light and plenty of room for the children to play in the back garden and playing fields are only one hundred and fifty yards away. Nearby primary and secondary schools meant the kids could walk to school once they were old enough and the large bedrooms meant that as teenagers they were able to spend time in their rooms, making them their own private space. Cooking in the kitchen is fantastic as you look out onto the green opposite. Now we are downsizing we will really miss the ability to walk out of the front door and go for numerous walks; White Nancy and the Bollin Valley being two of our favourites. We hope that whoever buys this house enjoys putting their own stamp on it and has just as many happy years here.
