The Vendor's View
Nagden House is an extraordinary home, being a Creekside property this is a unique place to leave, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. It has the perfect mix of living in a rural area without feeling isolated, as you are part of a village and a short drive takes us to Seasalter or Faversham. You can walk alongside the creek into the centre of town, which takes half an hour.
There is so much to love about living here, the house is airy with generously-sized rooms that benefit from lots of daylight, while views out of the windows are picturesque, either across the creek or beyond. Being able to open the whole house up in the summer and use the outside space is lovely – the vegetable garden, paddocks, stables and jetty onto the creek provide an amazing mix of entertainment. Despite the living spaces being large they still feel cosy in the winter, especially with the log burner on the go. People are often blown away when they come to visit, commenting on the views and setting – it is a perfect home for hosting as there is so much space both inside and out.
We love socialising in Faversham and it is great fun to be able to jump in the speed boat to pop out for a drink, a bite to eat or to grab some shopping by water. The short drive to Whitstable offers a seaside town which is full of life with the beach, coffee shops, amazing eateries and quirky shops.
It is impossible to pick one thing that we will miss about Nagden House as we fell in love with it the moment we saw it. The wildlife will be hard to beat, it is stunning; an amazing collection of birds, ponies in the paddock which we rent out and the amazing sight of seals bobbing around in the creek!
