Location
Located on the banks of the River Thames, the historic market town of Wallingford boasts an excellent range of amenities including Waitrose supermarkets, independent shops, banks, restaurants and other leisure facilities such as a thriving theatre and sports centre. The town hosts numerous events throughout the year including a regular farmer's market, the 'BunkFest' festival as well as the popular Festival of Cycling. The world-renowned crime writer Agatha Christie lived in Wallingford from 1934 until her death in 1976.
