The location did it for us. We were already living locally and wanted a bit more space and also a drive as the children were getting older, so to find this property was excellent. In addition to that, we had a family relative who was also going to come and live with us so the bedroom downstairs made it more practical. All didn't go to plan and the relative didn't come along in the end, however my son found it the perfect opportunity to use that as his bedroom giving him extra privacy and having a downstairs toilet just makes family life and his life much easier.
We love the fact that the school is walking distance along with the bus stop and any last minute essentials can be obtained from the shop which isn't too far to walk either.
Over the years we've made changes to our home so nothing major needs doing. We tend to spend time when home relaxing in the conservatory, enjoying the private outlook over our secluded garden.
