Guiting Power
'Gyting broc' can be traced back to the charter that was written in ad 780, in the 13th century the village became known as Guiting Power. Situated in the upper reaches of the Windrush Valley, the village is extremely pretty with a Norman village church, village stores and bakery. Located near to several walks, including one through Guiting Wood, it certainly makes a good stop off point for those ramblers out for the day, with a pub at either end of the village green!
