If you are sensitive to noise, you may not find this flat to be ideal for your needs. There is noise on one side from trains (the living room side, less than 50 meters away) which runs from 5am to midnight, and there is road traffic on the other side (bedrooms side). Both the trainlines and road are next to the apartment block. However, the flat has double glazing and secondary glazing, which stops a lot of the noise, but it means you have to sleep with the windows closed. Honestly speaking, one quickly gets used to it or it kind of fades into the background...

The neighbourhood:

-Upmarket area, close to Hyde Park and Oxford Street.

-Very central location, within the heart of Zone 1, and close to all major locations in Zone 1.

Getting around:

-5 minutes walk from Paddington Station, and from there you can get to anywhere you want to go. Taxis frequently passing by outside the block.

-You can stop your car for a few minutes in the rear car-park, or taxis can drop you there. Resident parking permit should be possible. But no parking in the rear car-park (there isn't an allocated space available). You can park in the basement - the Paddington Station Car Park (about 25 pounds per day) .
