The flat has a small kitchen with a balcony, a living room, and everything works fine including heating and shower.
Local shops around the corner, including a Coop. It is 10 - max 15 minute walk to Woolwich Arsenal station. The buses go every 5 mins at peak time down hill to station. Woolwich is well connected, with trains, DLR, Thames Clipper (great fun, a bit pricey) and buses (53 is 24 hr to door) all going regular to London town. 53 goes straight to New Cross Deptford.

There are decent pubs in Woolwich and Plumstead, and some decent places to eat. Street Feast has opened up in the area, which is fun. SE18 is a very nice area for green hills and spaces, cycling, running etc. Flat is too small to keep a bicycle but there is a bike shed where I keep mine.

The flat is shared with the live-in landlord. They are a professional who has a son who visits every other weekend (though they are usually out of the house then).
