Great big double with ludicrous amounts of built in storage. Carpets and windows were replaced last year and the bed is really comfortable. It's positioned away from the road so it's really quiet and you won't be disturbed by any noisy neighbours. It has loads of light during the day, but very effective blackout blinds that were put in last year.
The Flat:
Is the kind you don't see very often in London. Not another one of these purpose built to the lowest possible standard, soulless cuboids by Lexadon. This is a proper home with high ceilings and all the fittings done to a really high spec. Very new, reliable and efficient boiler, excellent cooker and hobs, great shower and even a massive bath if stewing in your own juices is your kind of deal.
The Location:
Tulse Hill is a really great little area if your life is based in sw or Central London. It's close to all the useful sw spots like Brixton, Clapham, Camberwell, Herne Hill etc. You'll also have Tulse Hill Station less than 10 minutes walk down the road. From there you can get regular direct trains to London Bridge, Streatham, Tooting, Wimbledon, Peckham and plenty of other places. You have Brockwell Park about 20 minutes walk away, Herne Hill Market on Sundays and 2 really good pubs just down the road.
The Landlord:
Might be the best thing about an already amazing flat. She replaced the windows and carpets of her own volition. Tries to make living here completely stress free.
The Flat Mate:
A lovely Welsh actress who will ultimately make the decision on who gets the room. She's excellent company but also has her own social life, essentially the perfect person to share this flat with.
