Property Description
Property Reference: 459056.
This is the first of two bedrooms that we're currently looking to fill in our beautiful three-bed home. Rent: £750 pcm / £173.08 per week.
Set in the heart of Greenwich Millennium Village, close to Canary Wharf, our modern and fully furnished fourth floor apartment offers 1,065 sq ft (99 sq m) of spacious accommodation. It comprises of three large bedrooms and two bathrooms. Further benefits include a communal park with children' playground, a beautiful nature reserve, Hyperoptic broadband, a secure allocated parking space (included in the rent, but currently reserved by the occupant of the master bedroom) and 24/7/365 concierge service.
Walking into this flat, you'll immediately see how much love we've put into making this a 'home', and also that it's extremely spacious. It benefits from an unusually large common space, so there's no chance of that claustrophobic feeling that's so common in London! A tremendous amount of outside light shines into our open plan kitchen and living room, as we have floor to ceiling windows. A double door opens out onto a balcony that overlooks the park and tree and grass-filled Greenwich Meantime Nursery opposite. We have provided a table and chairs for your enjoyment of this outside space; it only needs to be about 13 degrees outdoors for you to be able to enjoy breakfast on the balcony, as the sun rises from this side and it's sheltered.
The kitchen is kitted out with an electric oven, four hob stover and chimney, ample cupboard and counter space, a dishwasher and large fridge freezer. The dining area has a massive dining table that comfortably seats six (four chairs are provided) and extends to seat eight, meaning that you'll be able to host dinner parties with ease. The lounge area consists of a comfortable three-seater sofa and an arm chair (TV is not included, but a bicycle is if that's any consolation!). The flat is Hyperoptic ready, and 1 gigabyte per second Internet means you'll be able to stream all you'd ever want to on the TV and on computers and other devices in the house without ever experiencing a buffering lag. All the rooms have Ethernet ports, meaning that you can get the full gigabit experience (100 Mbps is possible via wifi).
The bedroom has a comfy day bed that opens up into a king size bed. It currently has wide open shelving, and this unit is portable so it can be swapped with the chest of drawers in another bedroom in the flat. There is a white desk in this room with means of hiding cables built into it. There are vertical blackout blinds here, too.
All the rooms have floor to ceiling windows, which are double glazed. Although there're are radiators in all rooms, you're unlikely to ever need them even in the winter because the flat is so well insulated and the fact that the sun rises opposite the windows means that the flat warms up as soon as it begins to get light and stays warm throughout the day.
There is a utility-cum-storage room, where the washing machine and Ethernet exchange is located.
The flat is a stone's throw from the Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park, which plays host to many types of birds and wild flowers, and also the Thames Path. There is also a large park and playground across the road, and there are bootcamp-style exercise classes held in the park several times a week as well as football coaching for children at the weekend. The O2 is just 15 minutes' walk away, and the Odeon (with an imax screen only five minutes away). By the Odeon, you'll also find a range of restaurants and a large B&Q with garden centre. A new ikea is in the process of being built in this area. You can find a huge asda and several other supermarkets and outlet-style shops a 12-minute walk away. Greenwich village is a very pleasant 40-minute walk away along the Thames Path, and this is also cyclable.
The flat is one bus stop or a 12-minute walk away from North Greenwich Tube station (Jubilee Line) and 15-minute walk from Westcombe Park National Rail station (with trains to London Bridge and St Pancras International), so transport links are perfect. If you work at Canary Wharf, you are literally only 15-20 minutes from your desk; if central London then it's perhaps as few as 30.
Our EPC Rating is B (84). In our experience, the heaters are not required until it gets to about -5˚C outside! All the rooms have been painted recently with tasteful colours. We guarantee that you will love living here!
Our tenants share a single ast. And lastly, we're really sorry but we cannot take benefits recipients for mortgage reasons.
