Our Vendor's View
One of the features that first attracted us to look at Electricity House was the concept of living in a new Contemporary styled apartment, yet situated in an iconic Grade II Art Deco building. Our apartment has been fitted to a high standard with some bespoke features unique to our home. It has exceptionally large bedrooms and a sunny wrap round balcony at the 'bullnose' of the building, overlooking the new pedestrian area surrounding the Cenotaph.
The panoramic windows provide a spacious feel with fantastic views over the city and beyond to the Dundry Hills. Electricity House's grand entrance lobby, with concierge service, adds to a sense of luxury with some tourists mistaking it for a hotel! Having dedicated secure underground parking, for two cars and two motorbikes, we never need to worry about finding a parking space in the City Centre.
In contrast to most apartments, this penthouse has ample storage, the two large cupboards above the lift shafts are so large I have turned one of them into a sewing room so I can be creative until my heart's content! Our apartment is bigger than lots of family houses and with three en-suites there is a bathroom for everyone.
We are often tempted to eat out with so many restaurants and cocktail bars on the door step, we are also members of The Harbour Hotel, where we enjoy using the spa and gym. Living in the City Centre just couldn't be more convenient with excellent schools, shops, theatres, the cinema and the bus networks within minutes of the front door, we rarely need to use the car.
