Property Description
This fabulous one bedroom flat is beautifully arranged on the lower ground floor of a period terrace in the heart of Camden Town. The property was refurbished and benefits from an abundance of natural light and features a spacious reception room and a patio to the front and rear.
Owners Quote and local knowledge:
I feel like this flat is unique with three private outside areas. It is great in the summer having all the doors open with the sunshine flooding in. I particularly like the rear patio as it gets the sun in the morning so it was always lovely sitting out there for breakfast. The neighbours are all fantastic and there is a real sense of village community around us. Pats newsagent opposite is a great place to spot local celebrities while getting the local news. When Amy Winehouse lived in the road next to ours she was always in there. The other flats in the building are all very friendly and we often get together to do some gardening.
The flat inside is very quiet considering it’s on the main road. I think we benefit from being below ground so it is very tranquil considering Camden Market is a minute walk away.
I have just loved every minute of living there and enjoy being so close to Camden nightlife and central London. There are bus stops near the flat that go directly into Warren Street, Oxford Street, Hampstead and Clapham, if you don’t want to travel by tube all the time. Having the trains and tube station a 2 min and 5 min respectively walk away is so convenient for commuting to work. The canal (1 min walk away) is a favorite place for me to just enjoy life passing by and you can find every sort of restaurant within a 5 mins radius starting literally on your doorstep with the restaurants on the opposite side of the road. I also really enjoyed being so close to Hampstead Heath, Regents Park and Primrose Hill as these were top places to go at the weekends if you wanted to enjoy some green areas. I would never have moved out if it hadn’t been for needing more space for my growing family.
Ideal for first-time buyers or potential for an investment opportunity with a yield above 4%
