A number of other annual events are also held in Knutsford throughout the year. One of the highlights of the town's calendar is its Royal May Day celebration. The first Saturday in May sees a procession through the town and the crowning of the May Queen – a tradition that first began in 1864. The town's local membership club, Knutsford Lions, is actively involved in a wide variety of community activities, and the Lions Street Fair is held annually, where you can enjoy music, fairground rides, competitions and a wide variety of food and drink stalls. And if that's not enough, the town also hosts an annual beer festival!
