Mann Countrywide are proud to exclusively present this stylish family home situated in the sought after village of Meopham.

This unique property has been carefully designed to provide ample space for a busy family to entertain loved ones and is the perfect escape after a long day at work.

Meopham offers award winning country pubs and restaurants. Meopham Primary School has a "Good with outstanding features" Ofsted report and the Academy has a "Good" Ofsted report making this location particularly popular with parents seeking a fantastic education for their children. In addition there is a parade of shops for all of your local amenities, there are glorious fields and a cricket green providing picturesque views. This semi rural location is peaceful and tranquil but at the same time you have everything you could need nearby. The commuter coach to London stops at the end of the road and Meopham station is just minutes away. This really is the perfect place to live.

The property is arranged over three floors and comprises of a grand entrance hallway with two large storage cupboards, one of these housing a music docking system that feeds through to speakers located in the kitchen, dining area, lounge and orangery. There is also a ground floor cloakroom with wash hand basin and WC.

The bespoke kitchen was handmade by experts in their field "Balanes" and was installed in recent months. It comes with large larder style wall and base units, integrated fridge, freezer and wine fridge. The leather look granite work surfaces incorporate a butler sink with instant freshly drawn boiled water from the hot tap for tea and coffee. There is an aga range cooker with unique feature wall above. The breakfast bar and stalls make this room a great place to socialise whilst preparing a meal. This room includes a dining area with table and chairs and leads on to the gorgeous orangery which lets in an abundance of natural light with its glass roof and bi-folding doors that lead on to the rear garden.

The spacious lounge is the heart of this home and includes a fireplace and gorgeous surround, luxurious soft furnishings and bi- folding doors.

The ground floor also has a utility room with wall and base units, a sink unit, airing cupboard and Miele washing machine and tumble drier. There is a further room that is currently used as a play room but would also make the perfect study.

The first floor has four double bedrooms of which one has an en-suite with walk in double shower, wc and wash hand basin.

The family bathroom comes with a double ended bath and shower over, wc and vanity wash hand basin.

The entire top floor is the exquisite master bedroom with masses of storage space, dual aspect velux windows and an en-suite with shower, wc and vanity wash hand basin.

This property has been lovingly created with attention to every fine detail and can be offered either part furnished or unfurnished.

Here's what the owner told us about life at "The Hawthorns"

The house has been extended and modernised to make it a very sociable and efficient house that is conducive to family life and entertaining. The focal point of the kitchen is the Aga so essentially we spend most weekends with family eating far too many roast dinners! There are two living areas: The main lounge is normally just used of an evening to watch tv; in contrast there is no tv in the orangery so this is a far more sociable area. Alongside the orangery is another room, initially a play room but more recently a snug - it's offers that place to store toys, games and stationary!

We have a large utility with a sink, washing machine and tumble drier; it is big enough to iron in and dry clothes on a drier- it was purpose built to ensure there are never any clothes hanging around the house looking untidy and unnecessary!

Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms, the largest in the top of the house, it's very quiet up there and a good place to relax. On the first floor are 4 other bedrooms, we have saved the largest as a guest bedroom as it has its own en-suite and therefore offers our guests privacy. The last three rooms are all of a good size (all double rooms) and there is an additional family bathroom on this floor.

Once we are a little tired of entertaining we eat out in the village, pub at the end of the road, our favourite, is very friendly with great food. It's a very quiet lane, our house is placed midway so quiet yet only a short walk to the school and station.

We live a very busy and active life, the children enjoy walking to the green or the church to collect conkers and we enjoy running across the fields and through the country lanes. We make good use of our garden to bbq and our girls enjoy the Wendy house. Our garden is low maintenance because we are so busy and it works perfectly!

There is lots of storage here so it's an easy house to keep tidy. Other perks are the integrated music system, hot water tap and security measures.
