Property Description

Looking for a stunning 3 bed detached family home with 1 bed self-contained annex, nestled into extensive grounds, a fabulous kitchen /dining room with solid wood block floors, 2 sitting rooms, log burners, 3 garages, backing onto Golf Course & only minutes form Mold..….This really is the NewHome4U

Come to our office for free Independent mortgage advice or just email or even ‘call': Do you like the photos? Well maybe you would you like to view this home personally…..The good thing about NewHome4U is, we open 7 days a week and we’re physically in the office 4U just so that you can, ‘’like no other estate agent in Mold’

Nestling beside a small lane in an area of outstanding natural beauty yet within mere minutes of Mold town centre, we find Innisfree. Sitting on a manicured plot of almost 2/3 of an acre, this is one stunning home. It’s one that offers plentiful and versatile accommodation which includes a self contained one bedroom annexe catering for any imaginable needs……this family home really has it all. Alright, there are no sea views and the infinity pool is missing but that’s about it!

Driving in through the broad gateway, the block paved drive swings through 90 degrees past immaculate lawns from where we see the main house in the distance, well it definitely appears a long way away!

To our right is the detached block of three garages, with an area of hard standing at the far end, ideally suited for a caravan or trailer. The first of the garages is internally separated from its twins and houses all the very necessary gardening equipment, while the two remaining units have no dividing wall between them, providing a very useful workshop space. Of course should you wish to leave a car under cover this is also catered for by the integral car port situated at the right elevation of the home.

We approach this beautiful home via a patio area that surrounds the tile roofed conservatory which offers a commanding view of the huge front garden. In here there is a floor of high quality grey laminate and space for several substantial settees, making for a very pleasant room in which to simply kick back and chew the fat. The home’s ‘front’ door is also here, giving access to the inner hallway but the current owners find it easier to enter via the French patio doors, which lead into the very welcoming kitchen / dining room…..And this is probably the space in this home that will get the most use! It’s perfect for Christmas, Birthdays….In fact, any reason you can find to have a large gathering of friends or family.

Here we have our first glimpse of the wood block that covers the entire ground floor and provides a surface that is attractive, practical and immensely hard wearing. Apparently these particular blocks were reclaimed from a local High School and if they can withstand the abuse of generations of children… so in this setting they should last forever!

Anyway, the room itself is everything you could hope for, providing a spacious dining area with a huge brick hearth containing a cheery log burner, before we enter the delightfully laid out kitchen, with its classic ‘U’ shaped design making it a stylish and efficient place to flex your culinary muscles. The centrally positioned cooker features a gas hob, powered from gas bottles housed at the rear of the home - as there is no mains gas available.

Through an archway to one side of the kitchen is a cosy and snug sitting room and, if that makes this room sound small, it isn’t. Its ‘snug quotient’ is merely exaggerated by its close proximity to the heart of the home.

At the rear of the kitchen a door leads into the utility room, housing the laundry type white goods and the oil fired central heating boiler while a further door opens into the downstairs cloakroom. In here it conveniently provids a hand basin, lavatory and full shower cubicle with a pressure fed power shower. Now this is ideal for when the kids have been playing outside in the huge garden or surrounding woods and they are filthy, so rather than having to traipse upstairs to get them clean, you can simply do it here and avoid more mess……this can also apply to adults too :)

A back door leads to the rear garden with its handy log store adjacent to the door. This is an enclosed area of sloping lawn with, on the upper end, a flat paved area containing two substantial wooden sheds and a raised terrace. The highest level of which is decked over and provides a delightful and sheltered venue for enjoying the last of the afternoon sun.

Back indoors to the dining room, another door takes us into the inner hallway where we pass the staircase and come into the lounge. This is a delightful and comfortable room, kept very light thanks to its dual aspect windows overlooking the front and rear gardens respectively and warm and cheerful by the fitted wood burner.

Another door from here takes us into the annexe, where first and overlooking the front garden, is the sitting room. Adequately large to accept sizeable settees without being overpowered, this is a very pleasant room which also gives access through to the kitchen. This is fully equipped and even houses the annexe’s own central heating boiler, thus remaining autonomous from the main body of the home.

Leading off the kitchen is a bathroom with pedestal basin, lavatory and mains water fed shower while at the other end of the room a further door reveals the annexe’s double bedroom. At the far end of a kitchen is a door leading out into the car port, making this part of the house completely self contained and thus perfect for an elderly, yet still independent parent. Alternatively, a teenager wishing to spread their wings a little can feel as if they are moving out while in reality are still under the protective wings of home and a watchful parental eye….And it saves you having to put a sizeable deposit down on a NewHome For Them (it’s our parent company)

Back to the main hallway and upstairs and turning to our left we find the first of the bedrooms. All doubles, each of these rooms offer pleasing views over either the garden or in this case, the woodland to the rear of the home.

Adjacent to here is the family bathroom. This is beautifully fitted out with its quality wood laminate floor and features an ‘L’ shaped corner storage unit housing the hand basin, a similar one housing the low level lavatory and an ‘L’ shaped bath with glass splash screen and mains water shower over.
Along the broad landing with its open banister giving an almost minstrel’s gallery feel as you overlook the stairwell, we find another rear facing double bedroom and finally, looking out over the manicured lawns is the master bedroom.

As you would expect, this is the largest of the bedrooms but also has another trick up its sleeve. Through an arch to one side we find a dressing room equipped with fitted vanity units to allow the lady of the home (or man if we want to be pc) to beautify herself/himself in peace and comfort, which then leads through into the en-suite bathroom.

This fully tiled space is, as you would expect, luxuriously fitted out offering a pedestal hand basin, lavatory and bidet while the opposite wall houses a walk-in shower cubicle and huge linen/airing cupboard, which also conceals the pressurised tank that feeds the hot water system.

If it is a family home you want, this provides for virtually every imaginable family scenario and does so with style and comfort. If it is space you want, 2/3 of an acre should be enough for anyone. Outbuildings? Got them. Convenient yet rural location? Perfect. Does it require any work? Far from it, it is utterly immaculate. Would Granny like it? Yes, and she can retain her independence while remaining at the heart of the family. What about our teenage son or daughter? See above. Any question you care to throw at this home is simply batted straight back to you, so the only query remaining is; would you want to live here? I know I would……how about you?
