Property Description
The plot We are very pleased to be able to offer for sale a freehold residential development site in a location convenient for both Stroud and the M5 motorway in an established residential part of the town.
The extent of the site is shown edged in red upon the os plan within these sales particulars for identification purposes only and it amounts to approximately 0.22 acres.
There are a number of buildings currently on the site that will need to be demolished and removed by the purchaser, who will also be responsible for creating the new access which will also be used by the vendors at No.1 Station View.
There is outline planning permission for three terraced houses with garages and parking areas.
Viewings The general location of the site may be viewed during normal daylight hours. As it is not possible to gain access onto the land, we are arranging a number of open view times as follows:
1. Monday 26th November 2018,2pm to 3pm
2. Tuesday 4th December 2018,10am to 11am
location The site is to be found on the edge of Stonehouse about five miles west of Stroud's town centre. Junction 13 of the M5 motorway leading to Cheltenham and Gloucester to the north and Bristol to the south is about two miles from the site.
Stonehouse has facilities for everyday use including both primary and secondary schools and Stroud itself has a good range of retail, leisure and educational facilities including two of Gloucestershire's remaining Grammar Schools.
Services & tenure We are informed that the vendors enjoy freehold title and vacant possession will be granted upon completion of a sale of the development site. Full rights for access and servicing will be granted over retained land onto Station View, which is an adopted highway.
Mains electricity and water are immediately available. Drainage is in Oldends Lane and the purchaser will be required to connect the three new houses to this system and construct a spur for the benefit of No. 1 Station View.
