This location is ideally located in many ways. Preston city center is less than 2 miles away and there are a number of retail parks scattered around the outskirts packed with brand names.
To the South, Liverpool old road and the holiday resort of Southport are within easy access.
Heading North up the coast is St Annes-on Sea, Blackpool, Fleetwood, Poulton-le-Fylde, and the Lake District and Cumbria is approx. 45 Minutes drive.
As a side note: Preston has recently won an award for the most improved city in the UK and it's still growing. Blackpool is only 15 to 20-minute drive down the road and currently undergoing a massive regeneration project so this area of the North West Coast is fast becoming one of the most desirable places to live.
The area is called Ashton-on Ribble which basically sits on the Green Belt if you like nice drives in the countryside.
