The primary school in the village has a ‘Good’ Ofsted report and is well regarded and there is a playgroup as well. There is a May Fair, Bonfire night and Christmas carols - a real community here. You can also walk straight out of the house into fields and countryside, down to Box and through Colerne Park to Castle Combe. The cycling round here is brilliant too. Lucknam Park, the Georgian country house hotel and spa, is about a mile away, with fine dining at Michelin Star Restaurant Hywel Jones. Allington Farm shop with great café and large selection of locally produced produce is also nearby.”
Chippenham station is only 9.4 miles away and so easy to get to London on the train in 1 hour and 10 minutes.
